What ResQ is, and what it is not.
ResQ is not an obedience program, behavioral diagnosis tool, or substitute for veterinary care, professional dog training, veterinary behavioral care, behavioral assessment, or other qualified professional expertise.
No Guide can choose a dog for you or guarantee an adoption outcome. ResQ gives you a practical framework, thoughtful questions, guided observations, and space to make the decision that fits your real life and the dog in front of you.

Do the core Guides need to be completed in order?
Yes. The core ResQ journey follows CHOOSE, then UNDERSTAND, then CONNECT. Guide 1 is the responsible beginning. The complete three-Guide option lets you purchase all three at the start and work through them in order.
Is the Gift-Giving Guide Guide 4?
No. It is a stand-alone specialty Guide for thoughtful gift-givers, future dog owners, family members, and friends. It does not change the core sequence.
Are Guides included with private support?
No. Guides and private-support sessions are separate purchases, so you can select only what fits your situation.
How will I receive my purchase?
After successful payment, any digital ResQ Guide in your order will be available immediately from the confirmation page. Please download and save it to your device. If your purchase includes private support, the same confirmation page will take you directly to Patti's calendar to schedule your first session. If none of the listed times works for you, email Patti at patti@journeyintwilight.com with your request.
How are support sessions scheduled?
After payment, you will continue to Patti's calendar to schedule your first session. Multiple-session packages can be scheduled from available calendar times at the pace that best supports your situation and are not required to occur weekly. Does ResQ replace a trainer or veterinarian?
No. ResQ is educational and human-centered. It does not replace qualified veterinary, training, behavioral, medical, legal, or other professional services.
